Aveleda distinguished as International Winery of the Year
During the last twelve months, the well-known and influential American magazine, Wine & Spirits, assessed 5.800 newly released wines of producers from all over the world in order to select the 100 International Wineries of the year.
The results were presented in the 21st issue of the Annual Buying Guide. Two criteria were used to choose the best producers of the world:
- 1. Producers who earned the highest scores on individual wines
- 2. Producer with the highest percentage of wines recommended by the Wine & Spirits tasting panel
Aveleda was, once again, distinguished as one of the 100 International Wineries of the Year. This important result reflects the quality of Aveleda's wines.
Combining dedication, tradition and technology, Aveleda has evolved through time in order to continue competing with success worldwide.
The Quinta da Aveleda Vinho Verde was selected as one of the Best Buys of the Year with 90 points
The Aveleda Follies Chardonnay / Maria Gomes was distinguished with 87 points).
