Inanda is a fascinating sparkling wine that was created by Raisin Social to suit the UK wine consumer who wants an everyday drinking sparkling wine. They worked with their partner, Westcorp to develop the idea into a successful brand

Inanda (the Zulu word for 'beautiful place') is made from 100% Colombard grapes using the 'Charmat' method, which gives the wine maximum fruit flavour without too much alcohol. Secondary fermentation ensures that Inanda is a deliciously fresh sparkling wine with aromas and flavours sherbet and tropical fruit.

Raisin Social extensively tested the concept through market research, focus groups, and the label design developed.

The launch was supported by an extensive PR campaign, consumer and press tastings, followed up by press advertising

The brand has enjoyed huge success and is now the best selling sparkling wine from South Africa. It is available in outlets throughout the UK, thanks to the excellent relationships built up by Raisin Social in the UK market
